Home Selection Management

At C&C Partners , we break the home selection process into two broad phases: estimation and interior design. We’ll provide an estimator to establish a budget, then bring in an interior designer to bring your vision into reality. We offer this process for both new home construction and whole house remodeling services.

Client-First Planning

Custom home building can be an overwhelming venture; our team will walk you through every phase of the design/build process to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. Our project manager and architect encourage homeowner participation as much as possible, and we’ll be happy to bring you along as many site visits and planning sessions as you care for!

The Estimation Phase

After setting a preliminary budget and design, we take a deep dive into the project plan and create an estimator for interior selections. We’ll ask specific questions about your style and preferences before sending the info to subcontractors for bids. We’ve formed close, long-lasting relationships with our vendors to maximize value for our clients.

Next, we’ll send the plan to construction, where they’ll establish a Schedule of Values (SOV) and a detailed budget. This budget will be provided to the client; we’ll then go back and forth until a final draft is settled.

Just reminiscing about our photoshoot from last week...

When we get to this point, the point of being able to capture where design came into fruition, construction is complete, and your dream house becomes your dream home...we are filled with gratitude.

With a team of many (stress on 'many') individuals and years of sifting through inspo images, sketching multiple iterations, finding quick solutions, navigating a few head-scratchers, choosing the final selections, and immense patience has all paid off.

Our Modern French coming soon...

Four weeks of framing coming to an end...

Over at our Glenroy project, each week is getting more and more exciting. We're currently getting ready for electrical and HVAC to start.

Is there a part of this project you want to see more of? 🤗

It's happens...

Seldomly. We have processes and procedures in place to avoid this from happening on site, but in some circumstances, framing is adjusted on site in real time. Why? Or what could be the reason? Many factors...

The way it was framed could look funky when covered with drywall and we might need to flush out a corner, or cut back the roof a little. Things like that can't be caught during 2D drawings. Or maybe a change order came in because the window size doesn't look good, or the kitchen needs to be 2' larger, or maybe we want to add a small closet for HVAC guys.

Just yesterday at Glenroy we asked the framer if we could change a water closet swing door to a pocket door, and realized if we have given the go ahead, we'd be requesting a massive reframe of the whole bathroom! The request was quickly abandoned...but in rare occasions, especially if it is the homeowner requesting the change, we move forward with it!
